BATTERY CHARGERS

Battery chargers are one of our most sold finished products, due to their importance for high usage electrical machines. These silicon rectifier chargers made of advanced component and material, are manufactured with compliance to national standards “GB4706.1-87” & “GB4706.18-88”.

The AC voltage isolates and reduces the voltage by the transformer and full wave rectifier turns it into low voltage, DC voltage and adjustable current.

They are steady in characteristics, light in weight, convenient in use and can be applied to car reparation, motor, dynamo group, communication equipment such as remote-control switches, and battery chargers for computer.

Their specs are shown below:

Rated output current: 10A, 15A, 20A and 30A

AC input voltage: 220V ± 10%

Frequency: 50/60 Hz

DC output voltage: 6V, 12V, 24V, 36V, 48V and 72V

Working environment: -10°C ~ 40°C

VOLTAGE STABILIZERS

The singe phase automatic voltage regulators (voltage stabilizers) are designed to perform at continuous operation 24/7, for industrial and domestic AC networks ranging from 0.5KVA to 30KVA.

2-VOLTAGE-STABILIZERS

Our main brands are:

JONCHAN
GUVEN-IS
POWERHERO

Our voltage stabilizers are fully automatic with high precision. They can be divided into 2 types following the mode of operation:

Servo type (analog and digital)

Relay type (analog and digital)

They have reliable performance with no output waveform distortion. These products can be used for a long time with high efficiency and low power consumption, featured with the following:

  • Output; short-circuit, over-current, high and low voltage protection.
  • Smooth and dynamic correcting of the output voltage without disturbing the end user.
  • Extremely small tolerance ranges in output voltage regulation Monitoring and control over a Wi-Fi network from a phone, tablet or computer (Optional).
  • Ability to set delay time for all operations, value of protecting output at high and low voltage and the desired voltage value.
  • Spare parts for all brands and sizes are available as well.

VOLTAGE PROTECTORS

Usually used for domestic appliances working on the clock such as fridges, freezers, water dispensers etc., our imported and local voltage protectors are the best solution for the instability in the network grid voltage.

1-VOLTAGE-PROTECTORS

Ranging from 15A to 45A, the protectors’ parameters can be adjusted as follows:

Low Voltage: 140V-210V

High Voltage: 230V-280V

Delay time: 5-999 Sec

All protectors come with a 4bit screen, to show the function selected by the user.

SOLAR SYSTEMS

Our ability for evolving and our commitment to making the Earth a cleaner planet, has made us one of main investors in the solar energy sector in Lebanon. With Zero emissions, low running & maintenance cost, Solar systems are one of the greenest and most accessible green energies on the market. Lebanon is gifted with sunny days throughout the year with solar insolation values averaging 2.5KWh/m2/day in January and 7.2KWh/m2/day in June according to a study done by the “American University in Beirut” (AUB) in August 2017.

We are sure that a bright future is ahead where green energies especially using photovoltaic systems will have a big role in supplying electrical current for domestic and industrial sectors. Solar energy can be used for multiple applications whether for complete off-grid home powering, on-grid systems, hybrid systems (a combination between off and on grid), water pumping and irrigation, battery charging and many others.

The core of the photovoltaic systems used for any application is always the solar panels, that usually requires a controller to convert the output of the solar panels into a more suitable output to charge a battery or feed an inverter. This last one is a must, to convert the DC power produced by the PV panels to AC current that powers most of the machines (fans, pumps, televisions, refrigerators…).

PV PANELS

The root of solar systems, PV panels absorb sunlight as a source of energy to generate electricity. Typically, they can be organized into two categories: Polycrystalline and Monocrystalline. Poly panels have a lower heat tolerance than mono panels, are less expensive but less efficient and require slightly more space. There is no unique rule in choosing between poly and mono, it all depends on the application. For instance, consumers with large roofs and tight budgets will choose polycrystalline PV panels; while monocrystalline solar panels are perfect for small roofs or space-constrained properties. Our most sold panel is a 270W, 36V (open circuit) polycrystalline model that have proved to be a suitable choice for the Lebanese market.

MPPT CHARGE CONTROLLER

As mentioned before, controllers are essential for panels performance, regulating the produced current to avoid battery overload, preventing reverse current in the night and protecting from overvoltage and other risks. Many controllers have been used through the evolution of PV energy systems,
the latest is the “Maximum Power Point Tracking” which converts the excess voltage into amperage thus reducing charging time and power loss. It is more efficient than PWM system and usually used for high output voltages. MPPT controllers come in different sizes (10A, 20A, 40A…) and can be connected to one or more panels depending on the maximum input power they can withstand. Controllers output is directed to batteries or inverters, which also come in different models and sizes and will be treated in the next section.

SOLAR INVERTERS

Solar inverters are devices that convert DC current produced from PV panels and filtered by charge controllers to AC current supplying electrical machines such as electrical motors (fans, AC compressors, pumps) and other appliances both single and three-phase. Many types of inverters could be found in the market, but they are usually divided into the following categories:

Off-grid: which has DC input from the solar panel and used to power an electrical appliance.

On-grid: converts the DC from the PV panel to AC current having the same frequency and slightly higher voltage than the utility grid, and then insert it into it. Some countries pay for the extra electric current produced by these inverters based on a counter installed on the output.

Hybrid: a combination of on grid and off grid inverter, usually the most expensive one, have DC and AC input with priority setting, can perform as both off and on grid.

Other than these categories, solar inverters can have built in MPPT controllers (battery free) and can be designed for specific application (pumping systems).
